  • How many are in a class at Dolly's

    We limit class spaces to 6, so each member of the class gets the help and support they need.

    • If its a party,special occasion or team building session we can allow more candidates. As this would involve more machines and staff please speak to us about your requirements. We are flexible and happy to discuss your requirements with you.

    How do I book on a class at Dolly's

    There are a few ways to book at Dolly’s.

    This website, Social Media, By Telephone, Via E-mail and to some into the shop in person.

    We will give you any information or a list of things you need so you to have every opportunity to ask any questions and have a contact for your booking.

    Then we can send you a paypal invoice or take card payments over the phone or in person.


    Do I need to be able to use a sewing machine for all classes?

    We have something for everyone from learning how to use a sewing machine, to making made to measure garments.

    If you have never used a machine before, but desperately want join a class with your friends ( or on your own), we can do a simple crash course to get you going.

    We know you will love it so much that you’ll be back wanting to know about the workings of a sewing machine.

    I need to cancel/rearrange a class

    Dolly’s is just a small one woman business so every purchase or booking you make is essential to keep me in business. I keep classes small so you can have the attention you need when learning a new skill. Once you have booked a class with me that is your place secured. This means if you cancel at short notice it has a big effect on me and Dolly’s. This is why I ask that you pay for your class in full when making your booking.

    I understand that sometimes things happen and it might mean you can’t attend on the date you’ve booked so please give me a call and I’ll try my best to get you on the next available class.

    If you wish to cancel I need 7 days’ notice and then I can provide you with a 75% refund. I ask for 7 days’ notice so that I have the opportunity to fill your space on the class and the 25% of your payment not refunded covers admin fees. If you don’t give me 7 days’ notice then the full amount is non-refundable.
